ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம், வாலாஜா வட்டத்தில் உள்ள பள்ளி, கல்லூரிகள் மற்றும் கிராமங்களில், "பெண் குழந்தைகளை காப்போம் - பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கு கற்பிப்போம்" என்னும் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் குழந்தை திருமணத்தை தடுக்கும் விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது. கல்வி கற்கும் வயதில் குழந்தை திருமணத்திற்கும் மற்றும் இளம் வயதில் கர்ப்பம் ஆவதற்கும் ஆளாகி தங்களது எதிர்காலத்தை தொலைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிற பள்ளிக் குழந்தைகள் மற்றும் கல்லூரி மாணவ மாணவியர்கள் மேலும் கிராமங்களில் உள்ள பொதுமக்களிடையே விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்வை ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டத்தின் சமூக நலன் மற்றும் மகளிர் உரிமை துறையின் கீழ் தென்றல் இயக்கம் தொண்டு நிறுவனம் ஒருங்கிணைத்து டிசம்பர் 8 முதல் 15 வரை ஒரு வார கால விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்தி உள்ளது. குழந்தை திருமணங்களை தடுக்கும் விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சி வாலாஜா வட்டத்தில் உள்ள அரசினர் பெண்கள் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் டிசம்பர் 8 அன்று தொடக்க நிகழ்வாக நடைபெற்றது. இதில் தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துப் பாடி தொடங்கப்பட்டது. வாலாஜா அரசினர் பெண்கள் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியின் தலைமை ஆசிரியர் வரவேற்புரை வழங்கினார். குழந்தை திருமண விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியின் அறிமுக உரையை தென்றல் இயக்கத்தின் செயல் இயக்குனர் ரேமண்ட் அவர்கள் எடுத்துரைத்தார். மேலும் இந்நிகழ்வில் சிறப்பு அழைப்பாளர்களாக ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்ட சமூக நல அலுவலர் திருமிகு பால சரஸ்வதி அவர்களும், ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்ட இளஞ்சிறார் நீதிக் குழுமத்தின் உறுப்பினர் டாக்டர் பி வேதநாயகி அவர்களும், குழந்தைகள்நலக் குழு தலைவர் திருமிகு பவானி அவர்களும், ஒருங்கிணைந்த சேவை மையத்தின் செயல் அலுவலர் திருமிகு மலர்விழி அவர்களும் கலந்துகொண்டு மாணவிகளுக்கு விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தினர். மாணவர்களிடையே விழிப்புணர்வு கருத்துச் செய்தியை துண்டு பிரசுரங்களை விநியோகித்து விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தினர். நிகழ்வின் இறுதியில் குழந்தை திருமணத்தை தடுக்க நான் உறுதி ஏற்கிறேன் என்று உறுதி மொழியை மாணவர்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டனர். பள்ளி உதவி தலைமை ஆசிரியர் நன்றியுரை கூறி இந்நிகழ்வை நிறைவு செய்தார். நிகழ்வில் 1300க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவ மாணவியர்களும் ஆசிரிய பெருமக்களும் பெற்றோர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டு விழிப்புணர்வு பெற்றனர். குழந்தை திருமணம் இல்லா ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டத்தை உருவாக்க அனைவரும் உறுதி பூண்டனர். இந்நிகழ்வை தென்றல் இயக்கம் என்னும் தொண்டு நிறுவனம் ஒருங்கிணைத்தது.

Special Medical Camp from Apollo Hospital, Chennai for the Karivedu Villagers organizaed by MSSW, fa

Thendral Movement - NGO engaged Madras School of Social Work (MSSW college students) Chennai, for a 5-day Rural Exposure Camp in Ranipet district. During the period of camp, MSSW College, in collaboration with Apollo Hospital – Chennai, organized a free medical camp on 29th August 2025 at Karivedu Village, Ranipet District. The camp aimed to promote the health and wellness of the Sholaga nomadic tribe and the Karivedu villagers. A team of specialist doctors from Apollo Hospital provided consultations and basic health check-ups. Free medicines, health awareness sessions, and follow-up referrals were also offered to the beneficiaries. Over 250 villagers and community members availed of the medical services. The programme created awareness on preventive healthcare and addressed key health concerns in rural areas. Leaders of the Thendral Movement NGO and faculty members of MSSW expressed gratitude to Apollo Hospital for their support. This collaborative effort reflected the spirit of community welfare, education, and health equity. The event was well received by the Sholaga community and Karivedu residents, marking a step toward a healthier future.

ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம், காரை, ஆதிதிராவிடர் நல மாணவ மாணவியர் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் சமூக சேவை குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது. இன்று 26.8.2025 காலை 11 மணியளவில் சென்னையைச் சேர்ந்த MSSW கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் தென்றல் இயக்கம் இணைந்து ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டத்தில் ஒரு வார கால கிராமப்புற சமூக சேவை விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்வுகள் நடத்த உள்ளனர் என்பதை தெரிவித்தார்கள். "மகிழ்வித்து மகிழ்" என்னும் தலைப்பில் இன்று தொடக்க விழா நடைபெற்றது. விழாவில், ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டத்தின் சமூக நலத்துறை அலுவலர் திருமிகு. பாலசரஸ்வதி அவர்களும், இளைஞர் நீதி குழுமத்தின் நீதிமன்ற போர்டு முதன்மை உறுப்பினர் திருமிகு. Dr.P. வேதநாயகி அவர்களும் மற்றும் தென்றல் இயக்கத்தின் செயல் நிர்வாகி திருமிகு. ரேமண்ட் அவர்களும் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களாக கலந்து கொண்டார்கள். இந்நிகழ்வை ஆதிதிராவிட நல மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியின் தலைமை ஆசிரியை திருமிகு.மகாலட்சுமி மற்றும் உதவி தலைமை ஆசிரியர் திருமிகு. சுதாகரன், மேலும் பெற்றோர் ஆசிரியர் சங்க தலைவர் திருமிகு.செரியன் அவர்களும், MSSW கல்லூரியின் பேராசிரியர்கள் அசோசியேட் பேராசிரியர் டாமின் குயின் மற்றும் உதவி பேராசிரியர் அர்ஜுன் அவர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்புரையாற்றி மாணவர்களை ஊக்குவித்தனர். இந்நிகழ்வில் பள்ளியைச் சேர்ந்த 200-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவ மாணவியர்களும் ஆசிரிய பெருமக்களும் மற்றும் MSSW கல்லூரி மாணவ-மாணவியர்கள் 35 பேரும் ஆர்வத்தோடு கலந்து கொண்டார்கள். இந்நிகழ்வில் சமூகப் பணி குறித்தான முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்தி இதில் மாணவர்களின் பங்கும் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர்களின் பங்கும் குறித்து பல்வேறு கருத்துக்களை தங்களது சிறப்புறையில் குறிப்பிட்டார்கள். இந்நிகழ்வு தேசிய தேசிய கீதம் பாடி இனிதே நிறைவடைந்தது.

தொழில் முனையும் பெண்களுக்கான நிதியியல் கல்வியறிவு திறன் வளர்ப்பு பயிற்சி March 05 & 06, 2025 - ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம் சமூக நலத்துறை மற்றும் ஆதிதிராவிடர் & பழங்குடி நலத்துறை இணைந்து நடத்தும் “தொழில் முனையும் பெண்களுக்கான நிதியியல் கல்வியறிவு திறன் வளர்ப்பு பயிற்சி” மிகச் சிறப்பாக ராணிப்பேட்டை நகராட்சியில் உள்ள சீனிவாசன் பேட்டை பகுதியிலும் மற்றும் அரக்கோணம் தாலுகாவில் காவனூர் கிராமத்திலும், ஆதிதிராவிடர் பெண்களுக்கு தென்றல் இயக்கத்தின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பில் நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்நிகழ்வில் ஆதிதிராவிடர் நலத்துறை அலுவலர் திருமிகு அறிவுடைநம்பி முன்னிலை வகித்தார். Dr. P.வேதநாயகி - நிறுவனர் தென்றல் இயக்கம் மற்றும் ஆதிதாய் பெண்கள் வாழ்வாதார பாதுகாப்பு இயக்கம் அவர்கள் தலைமை வகித்தார். சிறப்பு பயிற்சியாளர்களாக, திருமிகு. பெர்லின் பெடரல் பேங்க் மேலாளர் ராணிப்பேட்டை மற்றும் திருமிகு ஜெயக்குமார் வளர்ச்சி மேலாளர் எல்ஐசி வேலூர் மாவட்டம் பங்கேற்றனர். இந்நிகழ்வில் எனும் நிதியியல் கல்வியறிவு தலைப்பில் பயிற்சி வழங்கினார். திரு பெர்லின் அவர்கள் வங்கிகள் எவ்வாறு வங்கிகளோடு தொடர்புடைய தொழில் முனையும் திட்டங்களை அணுகுவது, அதில் நிதியை எவ்வாறு மேலாண்மை செய்வது என்று பெண்களுக்கு பயிற்சி வழங்கினார். திரு. ஜெயக்குமார் அவர்கள் பெண்கள் நிதி மேலாண்மை செய்வதில் மிக முக்கிய பங்காற்று வருவதை வலியுறுத்தி, தொழில் தொடங்கும் பொழுது ஏற்படக்கூடிய சிக்கல்கள், இந்த சவால்களை எவ்வாறு மேற்கொள்வது என்பது குறித்து பயிற்சி வழங்கினார். இத்திறன் வளர்ப்பு பயிற்சியை தென்றல் இயக்கம் செயல்-நிர்வாகி அவர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார். மேலும் இந்நிகழ்வில் 160க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பெண்கள் கலந்துகொண்டு பயன் பெற்றனர். பங்கேற்ற பெண்கள் இதன் பயன்பாடு குறித்து பல தகவல்களை பெற்றுக் கொண்டனர். மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு இது போன்ற திறன் வளர்ப்பு பயிற்சிகள் மிக பயனுள்ளதாக அமைந்துள்ளது என்பதை குறித்தும் கருத்து தெரிவித்தனர். இந்நிகழ்வில் நூற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஆதிதிராவிட பெண்கள் மற்றும் பழங்குடி பெண்கள் பயன் பெற்றனர்.

The Abolition of Bonded Labour System Day was successfully observed on February 12, 2025, at Voorhees College, with active participation from professors and 80+ students of the Social Work Department. The event included a powerful testimonials, and an insightful speech from our distinguished guests - Dr. P. Vedhanayagi, Founder, of Thendral Movement - Dr. Edison, HOD, Department of Social Work, Voorhees College - Mrs. Neelaveni, Assistant Inspector for Labour, Vellore District - Mrs. Govindhammal, President, Released Bonded Labourer Association (RBLA) - Mr. Sambath, Bonded Labourers Welfare Officer, Ranipet - Mr. Raymond P, Executive Director, Thendral Movement, followed by a pledge to end the Bonded Labour System in Tamilnadu by 2030. The program was organized by Thendral Movement's internship student, Mr. Pradeep, Mr. Karthick, and Mr. Yukeshraj. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event a success, helping raise awareness and reaffirm our commitment to abolishing bonded labour.

ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம், அத்தியானம் மற்றும் கரிவேடு கிராமங்களில் ஐநா-வின் மனித உரிமைகள் தினம்! ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம், அத்தியானம் கிராமத்தில் வாழும் விடுதலை செய்யப்பட்ட கொத்தடிமை தொழிலாளர்கள் குடும்பங்களுடன் மனித உரிமைகள் தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது. ஆண்டுதோறும் டிசம்பர் மாதம் 10-ம் தேதி ஐநா-வின் மனித உரிமைகள் தினம் சர்வதேச அளவில் அனுசரிக்கப்படுவது வழக்கம். அவ்விதம் பல தலைமுறைகளாக கொத்தடிமைகளாக இருந்து விடுதலை செய்யப்பட்டு தற்பொழுது அத்தியானம் கிராமத்தில் வசித்து வரும் 50-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட இருளர் சமூக குடும்பங்களுடன் தென்றல் இயக்கம் தொண்டு நிறுவனம் மனித உரிமைகள் குறித்தான விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தி மக்களுடன் மனித உரிமைகள் தினத்தை அனுசரித்தது. 1. இதில் மேக்ஸ் தெர்மல் பொது மேலாளர் திரு மிகு மகேந்திர ராஜன் அவர்கள் சிறப்புரையாற்றி மக்களுக்கு செய்தி வழங்கினார். டாக்டர் பி வேதநாயகி தென்றல் இயக்க தொண்டு நிறுவன தலைமை பணியாளர் முன்னிலை வகிக்க அவர்களுடன் பெர்லின் ராஜா மற்றும் சம்பத், ரேமண்ட் ஆகியோர் கலந்துகொண்டு மனித உரிமைகள் குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வை மக்கள் மத்தியில் ஏற்படுத்தினர். மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு ஃபெங்கால் புயலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களின் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்கு நலத்திட்டங்களையும் வழங்கி உதவி செய்தார்கள். 2. மேலும் ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம் ஓச்சேரி அருகே உள்ள கரிவேடு கிராமத்தில் வாழும் 100-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட சோழகா நாடோடி பழங்குடியின மக்களின் மத்தியில் மனித உரிமைகள் குறித்தான விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தி ஃபெங்கால் புயலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு தார்ப்பாய் மற்றும் அத்தியாவசிய பொருட்களை வழங்கி மனித உரிமைகள் தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது. தென்றல் இயக்கம் ஒருங்கிணைப்பில் சுயம் அறக்கட்டளை அவர்களுக்கு தார்பாய் போன்ற அத்தியாவசிய பொருட்களை வழங்கி உதவி செய்தார்கள். The Thendral Movement has advocated for equal pay for women employed in shoe companies in Ranipet, a prominent hub for shoe manufacturing. “ Prior to our intervention, these companies provided a meager Rs. 2000 as compensation for female workers. Following sustained efforts by the Thendral Movement, there was a significant positive change, with the companies subsequently raising the pay to Rs. 10,000 for each woman employed in the shoe industry," explained Vedha. Over the course of 17 years, the Thendral Movement has positively impacted 25,333 beneficiaries through a range of initiatives. From aiding widows in Health Mix Flour production to rescuing bonded laborers, the organization offers a spectrum of services, including family counseling, empowerment programmes for female college students, and leadership training for women leaders in 288 panchayat villages. Looking ahead, Thendral Movement has their impactful future programmes, which include a strategic partnership with the Association for People with Disabilities (APD), which will focus on training and placement for individuals with disabilities. Collaboration with the Dasra-Rebuild India Fund aims to amplify welfare programmes for women, children, and the Jattikara community. Future plans also encompass establishing a knitwear job unit and introducing Women's Kitchen for quality food production, furthering the organization's mission to empower women in various sectors.

Tarpaulin sheets to Jaatikara Community People

Jaatikkara Community an ethnic group of people living in the outskirts of the Karivedu village in Nemili block were living under the torn saree camps. Thendral Movement’s field work & data collection Survey discovered that they are in need of good shelter. However, we are in the process of raising funds for them to provide the good shelter, as immediate step to address their need we made an appeal to FEDERAL BANK CSR WING. To our surprise, we received the CONGRATULATIONS mail from the FEDERAL BANK Ranipet Branch Manager. We discussed together to organize the Jaatikara Community families to distribute the Tarpauline Sheets in the month of October 18th, 2023 on 106th Federal bank Founder’s Day. Ranipet branch Manager Mr.Berlin and Thendral Movement Project Director made a field visit to the Karivedu village in the month of September 2023. Thendral Movement coordinated the entire programme and arranged for the Plastic Tarpaulin Sheets (35 Nos) and in collaboration with the local Panchayath Presidents Mrs.Aruna Dass (Karivedu Village President) and Mrs.Sulochan Praksh (Mamandoor Village President) and Education department personnel and Local Print Media Reporters Mr.Saravana moorthy and Mrs.Dhavid and other general public arranged for the formal distribution function to support the event happen huzzle free. Mr.Raja, Vellore Regional Manager and Mr.Berlin, Raniept Branch Manger along with his staff graced the function as the Chief Guests. With grateful heart we supplied the 35 Tarpaulin sheets to Jaatikkara Community families and briefed them the importance of education for their children. The families were so much overwhelmed by the joy of being under the safe roof. Children were dancing in joyous mood when they received the sweets and mixer packets. They are so much overwhelmed by the joy of being under the safe roof. Children were dancing in joyous mood. As we started the vehicle to move BACK TO THE Office, 8 year old girl ran towards our Director to bid farewell without any dress above her waist. She stopped the vehicle and took her shawl and wrapped the kid's body and saw her joyful smile of satisfaction hugging the cloth tightly. We thanked the almighty for the benevolence of Awesome Foundation and moved home discussing the immeasurable happiness of the kid and Jaatikara community people.

மனிதக் கழிவுகளை மனிதர்களே அள்லும் இழி நிலைமையை தடுக்கும் தேசிய ஆணையம் இன்று ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஸ்ரீ ஆண்டாள் லெதர் தோள் தொழிற்சாலையை நேரில் பார்வையிட்டு கடந்த 16.05.2023 அன்று விஷ வாய்வால் தாக்கப்பட்டு சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே இறந்து போன திரு தமிழ்ச்செல்வன் என்பவரின் இறப்பு இருக்கு காரணமான ஆலையை சீல் வைத்தனர். மேலும் ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகத்தில் நடைபெற்ற ரிவியூ மீட்டிங்கில் ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்ட தூய்மை பணியாளர்களை சந்தித்து நிறை குறைகளை கேட்டு அறிந்து அவர்களுக்காக SAFAI KARAMCHARIS தேசிய ஆணையம் வகுத்துள்ள திட்டங்களையும், தூய்மை பணியாளர்களை அரசு அதிகாரிகள் எவ்வாறு நடத்த வேண்டும் என்பதற்கான வழிகாட்டுதல்களையும், அறிவுறுத்தல்களையும் எதார்த்தமான விதத்தில் நடைமுறைப்படுத்துகிற சாத்திய கூறுகளை முன்மொழிந்தார். தூய்மை பணியாளர்களோடு கலந்துரையாடினார். இறுதியில் இந்நிகழ்விற்கு அதிகாரணமாக இருக்கும் விஷவாயுவால் தாக்கப்பட்டு இறந்து போன தமிழ்ச்செல்வன் ஷீலா குடும்பத்தினருக்கு 15 லட்சம் ரூபாய் காசோலையை வழங்கினார். மேலும் விஷ வாயுவால் தாக்கப்பட்டு தற்பொழுது மருத்துவமனையில் இருந்து வீடு திரும்பியுள்ள மூன்று பேருக்கும் நிவாரண உதவிகளை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரகம் பொறுப்பு எடுத்து நிறைவேற்றித் தர வேண்டும் என்பதையும் அறிவுறுத்தினார். உழைக்கும் மக்களின் சார்பாக என்றும் மக்கள் உரிமை களத்தில் நிற்கும் ராணிப்பேட்டை (RLTALPF - Ranipet Leather Tannery and Allied Labourers' Protection Forum)) தோல் மற்றும் அது சார்ந்த தொழிற்சாலைகளில் பணிபுரியும் மக்களுக்கான வாழ்வாதார பாதுகாப்பு இயக்கத்தின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பில் இச்செயல்பாடுகள் தொடர் கண்காணிப்பில் இனி இருக்கப்போகின்றன. #leather #safaikaramchari #ranipet #rltalpf

ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம் சிப்காட் பகுதியில் உள்ள ஆண்டாள் தோல் தொழிற்சாலையில் உள்ள கழிவு நீர் தொட்டியை சுத்தம் செய்வதற்காக பணி அமர்த்தபட்ட நான்கு நபர்களில் திரு செந்தமிழ்செல்வன் (34) என்கிற இளைஞர் விஷ வாயுத் தாக்கி சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே 16.5.2023 அன்று இரவு 11 மணிக்கு இறந்து விடுகிறார். அவருடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றிய மற்றும் மூன்று பேர் மயக்க நிலையில் வாலாஜா அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டு சிகிச்சை அளிக்கப் படுகிறார்கள். இதில் இறந்த நபருடன் சேர்ந்து மூவர் பட்டியலிடத்து வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள். (ஆதிதிராவிட) ஒருவர் யாதவ சமூகத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர். விஷ வாயுத்தாக்கி இறந்து போன திரு.செந்தமிழ் செல்வன் கடந்த நான்காண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு திருமணம் ஆனவர். அவருக்கு இரண்டு பெண் குழந்தைகள் உள்ளனர். அவரது மனைவி ஷீலா தற்பொழுது அனாதையாய் நிற்கிறார். இருவரும் தோல் தொழிற்சாலையில் பணியாற்றுகிற பொழுது காதலித்து திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டவர்கள். ஆண்டாள் லெதர்ஸ் கம்பெனியின் உரிமையாளர் கார்த்திக் என்பவர் அவரது கம்பெனியில் மேற்பார்வையாளராக பணியாற்றுபவர் அருண்குமார் என்பவர். பாதிக்கப்பட்டு உயிரிழந்த திரு செந்தமிழ்ச்செல்வன் குடும்பத்திற்கு சரியான நீதி கிடைக்க வேண்டும். பாதிக்கப்பட்டு இரண்டு பெண் குழந்தைகளுடன் நிற்கதையாய் நிற்கிற அவரது மனைவி ஷீலாவிற்கு உரிய இழப்பீடு தொகை தரப்பட வேண்டும். மேலும் கழிவுநீர் தொட்டி மற்றும் மனித கழிவுகளை அள்ளுவதற்கான எந்தவிதமான தொழில் முறைகளுக்கு எக்காரணத்தைக் கொண்டும் மனிதர்களை பயன்படுத்தக் கூடாது என்கின்ற சட்டம் இருந்தும் இதுபோன்ற பாராபட்ச மனநிலையில் உயிரிழப்புகளை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிற தோல் தொழிற்சாலை உரிமையாளர்களை மீண்டும் ஒருமுறை அரசு நிர்வாகம் எச்சரித்து எக்காரணத்தைக் கொண்டும் இது போன்ற உயிரிழப்பு சம்பவங்கள் நேரிட நேரிடுகிற அளவிற்கு தங்களது கம்பெனிகளில் எந்த விதமான செயல்பாடுகளும் நடைபெறக்கூடாது என்பதை கண்காணிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை இந்நேரத்தில் வலியுறுத்தி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம். கணவனை இழந்து வாடும் அவரது மனைவி ஷீலா குடும்பத்தினருக்கு குழந்தைகளின் எதிர்காலத்தை கருத்தில் கொண்டு அரசு நிர்வாகம் உடனடியாக அரசு வேலை வழங்கி அவருக்கு பாதுகாப்பு வழங்க வேண்டும். மேலும் அவர்கள் தங்கி வாழ்வதற்கான தனிமனை பட்டா வழங்கி அவர்களுக்கு அரசு செலவிலேயே சொந்த வீடும் கட்டிக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை இந்த நேரத்தில் வலியுறுத்தி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம். உலகளாவிய அளவில் பன்னாட்டு சந்தையில் ராணிப்பேட்டை தோல் தொழிற்சாலைகளில் இருந்து ஏற்றுமதியாகிற தோள் உற்பத்தி பொருட்களுக்கு மவுசு அதிகம். பன்னாட்டு சந்தையில் தமிழகம் மற்றும் இந்தியாவின் பெருமை ஒரு பொழுதும் சீர்குளைய இதுபோன்ற அசம்பாவிதங்கள் வழி வகுத்து விடக்கூடாது என்பதை கருத்தில் கொண்டு தொழிலாளர்கள் நலனில் எப்பொழுதும் கம்பெனி நிர்வாகங்கள் கண்ணும் கருத்துமாக செயல்பட வேண்டும் என்பதையும் வலியுறுத்தி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம். உயிரிழப்பினால் வாடும் செந்தமிழ்ச்செல்வன் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு எங்களது தோழமையை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.

Literacy (Tamil & English) Numeracy (Mathematics) skills to assess Learning Level among Children

In the process of implementing the Ennum Ezhuthum Mission to assess a child for their learning levels in language and mathematics Madhi Foundation collaborated with Thendral Movement. During the Covid19 pandemic lockdown crisis, the entire nation was frozen from all activities especially, education for Primary School Children. After the release of the lockdown, the schools reopened for offline classes. The 24 monthly breakdowns for the poor children have increased their learning ability especially LSRW Skills dull and weak. In view of assessing this on particular subjects like MATHS and LANGUAGE Madhi Led Assessment (MLA) was initiated in the Chennai district of Tamilnadu in 2 Schools as a Pilot Project. The objective of the study is to understand the learning levels of children, specific to Foundational Literacy (Tamil and English) and Numeracy (Mathematics) skills since they have missed almost 2 years of direct schooling due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the able coordination and guidance of the MADHI Foundation's Senior Manager Ms.Pratiba and Mr.Puviarasan & Ms. Mirra, the Assessment was carried out. Dr.P.Vedhanayagi, Founder of Thendral Movement, Ranipet has done excellent coordination, among the 10 volunteers and realized the Survey among the 246 Children. One day of refreshing training enabled the Volunteers to understand the subject and the importance of carrying out the task and accomplishing the data collection in 2 Schools among the children who belong to the class of 1^st to 3^rd std. This task was eased by her meticulous plan and systematic execution. Frequent communication with the district team encouraged them to perform well. Despite the monsoons, the 10 Volunteers made it a super success.

The outcome will help the Government-Education Department to design plans for enhancing the LSRW Skills among primary school children. The assessment began on 16.11.2022 and ended on 18.11.2022 amidst all odds we successfully completed the survey.

Comfort to the rescued bonded laborers whose Houses were Collapsed

There are 70 members (22 Families) in Athiyanam Village. Today we made a visit to the afflicted and comforted people along with IJM Government relations officer Mr. Prakash Rao and Mr. Siva Kumar After care manager. We spoke to them with comforting words and assured them to closely follow the rehabilitation works and the reconstruction of the new houses in the same location and arrange for Livelihood through starting new works like Block Printing, Tailoring, Wood Cutting, and napkin making.

People are encouraged to be always in unity and educate their offspring. An exemplary life testimony of Mr. Sivakumar was fitting in at this moment for inspiring the children and teenagers.

Late in the evening we met the Ranipet RDO and emphasized the rehabilitation works to be started ASAP.

Thendral has resolved the issue of Mrs.Sridevi (23) who is a victim of the married life. She was in despair after being cheated by her husband. She was rescued form committing suicide and was given a short stay shelter for 2 days in the office. Thereafter counselling was given to her parents to comfort her and provide necessary support.

கொத்தடிமை தொழில் முறை ஒழிப்பு தினம் 09.02.2022 இன்று ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஆற்காடு ஒன்றியத்தில் பெண்கள் அனைவரும் கூடி அனுசரித்தனர். தமிழ்நாட்டை கொத்தடிமை தொழில்முறை இல்லாத மாநிலமாக உருவாக்க உறுதி மொழி ஏற்றனர். இதில் தென்றல் இயக்க நிறுவனர் மற்றும் ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்ட கொத்தடிமை தொழில் முறை ஒழிப்பு கண்காணிப்புக் குழுவின் உறுப்பினருமான திருமிகு வேதநாயகி அவர்களும், திருமிகு தனிகேசன் சமுக செயல்பாட்டாளர், திருமிகு தமிழ் - சமூக செயல்பாட்டாளர் ஆதித்தாய் பெண்கள் வாழ்வாதார இயக்கத்தின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திருமிகு அமுதா அவர்களும், திருமிகு சரண்யா கள ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் அவர்களும் S4S கிளப் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் களும், இவர்களுடன் 60க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பஞ்சாயத்து பெண் தலைவர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டு பொதுமக்கள் மத்தியில் விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தினர். மேலும், மாவட்டத்தின் பல பகுதிகளில் இதே போன்ற நிகழ்வு தென்றல் இயக்கத்தின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பில் சிறப்புடன் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் நூற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட பொதுமக்கள் மாணவ மாணவியர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு விழிப்புணர்வு பெற்றனர்.
